Proxy Server Issue

Nov 19, 2010 at 12:51 AM

Not sure if anyone has experienced this before or not but I am behind an ISA server/firewall and am having some issues.

I just installed ArcBrutile today for the first time and am running ArcGIS Desktop 10 on windows 7 64 bit. This installed fine and I am able to click on the Google or Bing links and bring in their imagery and maps etc no problems. My problem comes from when I try to add a TMS service. In initially tried the default listed url which is http://labs.metacarta.com/wms-c/Basic.py and I reveived an error "(407) Proxy Authentication Required". I then tried  http://www.vr-theworld.com/vr-theworld/tiles as the url and I also received the same error.

Has anyone else had this issue? Maybe i am doing something basically wrong but I am unable to find any answers after doing plenty of searches.

Hi, this is a bug, see http://arcbrutile.codeplex.com/workitem/7622

it will be fixed in the next release

it's fixed can you test if it's working? You have to download/build the latest source code for that, otherwise wait on next release

Excellent work bertt, unfortunately I cannot compile the code so will have to wait until next release to test this.

I'm having the same problem with the new release (0.3.3.0). The OSM layer fails to load when I check the log I see error 407 for every tile. I use a proxy server but the previous version (0.2.2) had no problem with it.
