MapTiler compatability?

I stumbled on this extension, and am trying to use it with the simple TMS xml interface (static files). I pointed the extention at the url/xml file (simple root.xml file pointing at a tilemapresource.xml file) and it errors out.

Am I missing something, or is this expecting a more interactive (service not file) based TMS?

if the tms is public, can you post the url?

I think this is about the MapTiler tool. This creates a local tileset on top of some input data and puts a openlayers or google viewer on top of it. http://www.maptiler.org/

I looked at it briefly and created a sample TileSource that can access those local tiles: http://mapsui.codeplex.com/SourceControl/changeset/view/60831#1001134

I also tried to use the xml tms file they write to disk but there is an error in the origin, which I reported but never got a reaction to: http://code.google.com/p/maptiler/issues/detail?id=19

There was no exception though, it just was misaligned. Where do you get the error in reading the xml or reading the files from disk?

I assume Bert never looked at this and don't know how it should integrate with ArcBruTile. I guess you would like to have MapTiler button in ArcBruTile which allows you to browse to the local xml config file to automatically load the layer. Or better you should just have a TMS button which has the option to browse to a file on disk.
